Lily's 4th Birthday Party

Lily's birthday party was a HUGE success! We all had a great time and the birthday girl had so much fun that she threw up in her bed. Not to be gross...but I will...it was birthday cake pink.

The evening was full of family and friends from our community near and far! Above, the dress-up clothes I put out for the kids to use! Also, several of our adult friends dressed up too.
Lily and "Mer-Cary" - her favorite older friend!

The scene: having so many people there was GREAT, but also crazy. We are so blessed to have so many good friends.

One of the highlights of the night for me was playing music; we had a mandolin, a guitar or two and a djembe. Lily and her little best friend Anna danced and danced and danced for over 30 minutes - it was SO fun to watch!

The birthday night was such a success and we are so grateful for the four amazing years of watching our precious girl grow and become.

Dear Adult Lily that is reading this blog,
You are amazing and you inspire your dad and I every day to be WHO WE ARE, because you are so completely WHO YOU ARE. Remember that you can be anything and we will help you arrive where you want to go. When you are 18, if you still want to be a "frog or a scary dinosaur" we will still be proud of you.
love, your biggest fans,
mama and dada.
