Last week, we were able to celebrate Mimi and Papaw's 31st wedding anniversary! We went out to a GREAT meal and then walked around the park in Greer!

Thanksgiving '09

"Tricker-Tricker"

On Saturday, we celebrated Jeremy's 30th birthday AND Halloween! It was such a fun day. Here are some pictures from trick-or-treating, or as Lily calls it, "Tricker Tricker"! She loved saying "Happy 'Ween" as well...

As you can tell, my interviewee kept getting distracted by the 100+ trick or treaters we had at OUR house! That is NOT an exaggeration. We paid for the candy to prove it. It was insane, but fun.

Epworth '09

Lily and I had the best trip to Michigan to see family at Epworth! Below are a bunch of my favorite pictures from our time there. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of all our family members that we spent time with, but just know that Lily was in heaven with so much attention and so many people around! Above, Lily snacking on an apple during the BRUTAL 14-hour car ride up. A BIG thank you to Aunt Haley for being our car buddy and for entertaining Lily most of the way there. As some of you know, Lily does NOT sleep well in the car, and slept only 30 minutes the whole trip up... Jeremy couldn't come - his new job started while we were gone!

Lily has visited Lake Michigan before (last summer) and the Outer Banks too, but this year she was able to really enjoy the sand and water.

She seemed fearless of the water which surprised all of us. Normally, she is a very cautious toddler!

Lily also got to have her first bowl of ice cream at our favorite place, House of Flavors! (Don't tell her that she was really eating rasberry sorbet, since their ice cream has eggs in it!) You can hear Lily's three mothers, Ha-Ha, Mimi, and Mama, being protective :)

One highlight was getting to play a REAL "pinano" at Aunt Martha's! She loved it...especially since it plays by itself. This was one of my favorite things as a child!

On the way home, Lily, Papaw, and I broke up our trip (thank goodness) and stopped in to see Great Grandma Betty! Lily took to her immediately and wouldn't let her out of her sight by the time we left.

We finally made it home, with a blue toboggan on her head. It truly was a wonderful trip...but I don't want to go anywhere that far away for awhile! Love to all the Wagners! We miss you already and can't wait for next summer when (hopefully) Da-Da can come.
