Adventures on the Inside

Like most of our dear blog readers (even those in Florida!), we have been experiencing a HUGE cold blast here in East TN, including snow and ice. We haven't been getting out much so we have been trying to find ways to entertain ourselves at home. For example: putting on as many winter accessories as possible (see above).....

...reading LOTS of books...

...hammering things (and learning which things should NOT be hammered randomly: walls, floors, and staircases)...

...eating snow by the bowlfull...also, using socks for mittens (Lily's new favorite habit)....

...putting on other people's shoes...

...eating good food (including, but not limited to, grilled cheese)...

...cooking good food...

...learning to lip-sync... ...memorizing 30 types of pasta...

....and singing...a lot...("Have Patience" from the Music Machine)

...to name a few.

Hangin' With the Girls

Our dear friend Gina came to visit a few weekends ago. Lily is slightly obsessed with "Ga-Ga" and would not let her out of her sight! Our friend Jess came over to play a lot as well and Lily loves her too! Jeremy had a bad cold that weekend, so it ended up being a lot of quality time with the girls! So fun!

Lily loved sitting on the kitchen table with us. It kept her busy for a LONG time!

And of course, we played outside too!

So, its time for another slew (?) of pictures that I never got around to posting properly. As you can tell, some of them are from weeks ago. Watching the leaves fall a few weeks ago.
