5th Birthday Party

 

 Here are some snapshots of moments from Lily's 5th birthday party.  We were overwhelmed by the love we felt from our community.  Friends and family were present from church, preschool, neighborhood, and out of town and Lily had a BLAST!  ...the theme was "Fairy Dance Party"

Since Lily doesn't have her own brothers and sisters, she refers to Elijah and Anna as her brother and sister. She tells everyone she meets "I have a brother and a sister. Their names are Elijah and Anna." Complete strangers don't know any better, so we just let it happen. Plus, isn't that what community is all about? (brothers and sisters from different parents.) We're not going to correct this one...

CHRISTMAS 2011 so far (Best EVER)

The first night we got our tree...Lily got out this little stool and just looked at the tree.

Happy Birthday Elijah!

Last weekend we got to celebrate Elijah's 4th birthday! They constructed an awesome water slide in their backyard and Lily (to our surprise) jumped right in and slid down over and over.
