Easter Joy

We had a lovely Easter. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of Lily in her "beeeeaaaauuutiful" dress, but here are some before-church pictures. Above, Lily is holding her new ballerina jewelry box from Grandma and Grandpa! As you can tell, she's VERY fond of it :) After an amazing service at our beloved Hopwood, we went to a potluck at our friends' John and Amanda's house. We had an Easter egg hunt for the kids, played music, and sweated a lot! Such a wonderful, joyful day:

Little Buddies

This is Lily's other best bud, Anna. Her family lived down the road from us for a year and then moved to a different neighborhood - only a mile-ish away. We've really enjoyed getting to know them and Anna and Lily are SO cute to watch play! We're grateful for all our friends, big and small!

Autumn Adventures

Well. It's officially autumn here in East TN! The weather has cooled off drastically, which means we are no longer sweating while we sleep at night AND Lily's lovely window A/C unit has been removed from her streetside window :)We've been playing outside A LOT. Here are some pictures of Lily, playing in her favorite spot on our street - the "Hiding Tree".As you can see, someone is having a bit of trouble adjusting to the cooler air. She will NOT wear pants or appropriate shoes. I thought letting her get really cold would help... nope. Lily's beloved Daisy Bear getting a free ride in Lily's hood!
