This is What I Do

Hi Everybody, Lily here. Just wanted to help my mom write some stuff about these pictures. She is always taking pictures of me; sometimes it drives me CRAZY! But, I know she just really, really likes to take pictures...of me, especially.
I made this bouquet of utensils for my mom as a "special surprise" - isn't it beautiful?

My mom is obsessed with my hands and feet. She loves that I still only have dimples, no knuckles.

She encourages me to be silly a lot, but it comes pretty naturally.

I've been doing a really good job with playing (and cleaning up) recently! My imagination is going wild all the time...my mom encourages that, too.

I've also been practicing letters and writing a lot. I can't write letters, of course, but I do LOVE to scribble and pretend they are letters! Sometimes I write on the walls too. My mom and dad don't care that much actually. They just call it "art"
These dress-up dolls are my favorite toys right now. I spend HOURS laying out all the dresses, then choosing which one to put on them and what accessories match!
So, that's just a little bit of what I've been doing. Thanks for being interested!

OBX

("Lily Mae was here 2008")

We are back from our trip to the Outer Banks with Jeremy's family! Lily loved her time with Grandma, Grandpa, Granny, and Gramps, and her parents were so grateful for some alone time and extra sleep. Jeremy also caught some fish while looking at big water, and I took a lot of walks, aquired a mild sunburn, and almost finished a book. Cant ask for much more than that....

Grandma was Lily's fashion consultant and official diaper changer for the week.

Grandma's shirt says "Now you know what a Cool Grandma looks like" :)
Lily is now army crawling everywhere and we often find her in the most interesting places.

Bonding with Grandpa:

We had unusual weather, but it was still beautiful. The huge waves were mesmerizing for all of us.

To Grandma and Mimi: Is my form correct on this cheerleading move?

Foot Grabbing

This is Lily Mae's newest skill, and it might be the cutest thing ever, in the world, of all time...although we do describe many of her actions in this way.
