Yesterday was officially the day of cuteness. Lily was in a good mood all day (not too tired, until the evening), and did all these really exceptionally adorable new things. For example (above): finding Mama's hat, managing to put it on, and then going to show the baby in the oven reflection!
Also, sitting in the box that one of her Christmas presents came in.And figuring out how to walk backwards all of the sudden! She was pretty proud of this one.
AND, OPENING ONE OF HER PRESENTS when I wasn't looking! I didn't even know she knew what to do with wrapping paper. She wasnt very interested in the act of opening gifts at her first birthday party, and its been 4 months ago....It was almost as if she sensed that there was a bright yellow school bus inside all that paper....So, Granny and Gramps, here is the second best thing to seeing Lily open her school bus in person:

The walking backwards is my favorite! SO cute! I'm terrible about reading blogs on google reader and then never going to leave a comment...but please know that I love the Lily updates and can't believe how quickly she's growing!
