But we dont want her to!! Jeremy and I do eat healthier than some (and less healthy than others) and even though we try to avoid stuff that is processed, genetically modified, heavily preserved, or has high fructose corn syrup (etc), those things slip into our diet on a daily basis. How can we give such foods to our daughter, who up until this point has been fed the purest foods available? Is this a normal thing to struggle with?

Food Struggles! (Lily has an Opinion!)

Yes, I totally remember that struggle with our first but not with our second. For a while I fixed 2 meals... healthy stuff for Addy and the easy junk for us. Luckily she loved veggies and I would give her organic frozen ones (cooked of course) at every meal to compensate for the not so healthy stuff. You all are just great parents who want the best for your little one! You will find a balance (you always do) and will relax into this new phase quickly. Don't stress... comprise on some things and then don't on others. If it makes you feel better, Colston had a few sips of sweet tea on vacation and lots of other junk that we would have never given Addy at his age!
I can tell by how she sticks out her tongue, she will be able to touch her nose just like her Grandma Julie. Granny
Well, if she's ready to eat what you eat, meet you at El Toritos!
We all need Mexican health food don't we? It's been too long since we passed Lily around the table. It's hard to believe she's one year old ! We love you guys.
