Here are a "few" pictures of Lily's first hike, on the Roan Mountain Balds - our favorite easy/short hike. I may or may not have taken over 50 pictures. It was a very important "first" for our family.
Jeremy carried Lily on his back the whole way!
Lily loved being in the pack on "da-da's" back....and not having my ponytail ball in her face the whole time.
Jeremy was so sweet and let Lily touch a lot of the plant life we passed - she seemed to prefer rhododendrons.
We let her sit in the soft grass for awhile and she only ate one leaf! Seriously.

Above are the amazing Flaming Azaleas!! They were magnificent and werent even in peak!
We took a break from the floppy white bonnet which is obviously too big, but is the only hat we have with ties. She likes this baseball cap better.
Lily really likes drinking out of our Nalgene and is actually pretty good at it!
It was a beautiful day.
