Also, for those of you that know me well and are currently snickering at the idea of me actually making my own bread: I am setting out on a new course in the kitchen; beginning at the new year. I am excited. Dont shoot me down yet, but I do give you permission to say I told you so if I dont follow through. :) Look for upcoming posts on New Years Resolutions. I dont do them actually, but I will be implementing a similar concept: resolutions that just happen to fall at the beginning of a new year.
You should know that we as a family are extremely excited that the days will be getting longer, starting tomorrow (right?). Lilian is thrilled; we discuss the light daily. Personally, I am very affected by winter light, or lack thereof, so I look forward to this upswing all November and December, even though January is still bleak.
One last thing. Jeremy's last day at Natural Foods Market was today! We calculated that he has spent 1/14th of his life working there. We love our local family we have gained in our fellow employees, but are ready for the next chapter!
Let the journey begin.

Hey Casey,
I actually have a bread maker that I have only used twice. To be honest I prefer to make bread without it (there is a booklet that goes with it to make different types of bread -- but I do have a fun garlic cheese bread recipe that we make aournd Christmas time -- it's not in the booklet)--- I was thinking of keeping it to maybe use in my classroom when I teach --- but really it is just collecting dust so I know you have looked at that other website but you are welcome to mine. It's yours if you want it.
love you guys,
bit
