Today was the infamous two month Dr's appt. for Lilian! We were really looking forward to finding out how much she weighs, and dreading the shots for immunizations.
SO, (drumroll please) Lilian now weighs 12 lbs, 6 oz!! She has gained exactly 5 pounds since she was born! We have one healthy butterball on our hands :) Also, she is 23 inches long - so she has grown 2 inches as well! According to the doctor, our girl is doing GREAT.
The shots were a little less fun - I wont go into detail, but it really is heartbreaking to watch your child cry like she did. It could have been worse, and somehow I was able to restrain myself from crying right along with her. Jeremy had to leave the room - those of you who know him well are shocked I am sure :) I did alot of research regarding immunizations before we got them (and talked to a good friend - thanks Jen!), and though Jeremy and I were both nervous about the potential negatives, in the end we just had to decide to trust that God was in control of the situation. I think we are going to be having do that a lot in this parenthood adventure...right?
Anyways, as you can see from the video, our girl is happy...despite that collar! Try to notice the eyebrow action too!
