New Things for a New Day

Today Lily Mae and I tried some new things:

First we took a tour of the backyard, including the fire pit, compost pile, and the vegetable garden that never was. She likes to put her head back and look up when we are in the shade.

Next, we tried out gDiapers for the first time. We have been waiting to get the hang of this parenthood thing, and using disposables even though we have a large supply of small gDiapers to use. They will be more work, but not as difficult as cloth diapers. Check out the link to see why we like them, and see above picture for Lily Mae's reaction....

PS - thanks to the McFadzeans for the adorable Epworth shirt - just seeing that Blue Moon ice cream cone makes me crave it... one should not have to go more than a year without Blue Moon. We cant wait to introduce Lily to Epworth next summer!
